Who this is for
People who have decided to buy a drone and hit a wall of specifications that all look the same. You do not need to know what a gimbal axis is, or why every drone seems to weigh 249 grams. Those are the things this site explains.
If you already fly, you will find the comparison tables useful and the guides too basic. That is the intended trade.
Where the specs come from
Every figure is read off the manufacturer’s own specification page, and each drone links to the exact page it came from. Right now that is 5 of 5 drones with a source link. We do not use retailer listings, spec aggregators, or numbers quoted in reviews, because those are copies and copies drift.
What happens when a spec is missing
It stays blank. A dash on this site means the manufacturer does not publish that figure — it never means zero, and it never means the drone lacks the feature. We track 34 specifications per drone and most drones are missing several.
This is the part most comparison sites quietly fill in. A plausible number is worse than a gap, because you cannot tell it apart from a real one. Two examples of gaps we chose to keep:
- One drone advertises “46 minutes with two batteries”. That is a two-battery total, not a flight time, so its flight time is blank rather than halved.
- Another publishes airframe figures for a whole product series without separating the model we list. Those figures are recorded but not attributed to it.
What we do not do
We do not fly these drones. There is no testing lab, no review scores, and no awards. This is a specification comparison, which is one useful input among several — read it alongside people who have actually flown the thing.
Nothing here is sponsored or paid for. Affiliate arrangements are covered here and will be disclosed if any exist.
How new data gets in
Anything collected automatically lands in a review queue rather than on the site. Scraped records are held unpublished with a confidence score until a person checks them against the source and promotes them by hand. A drone cannot be published at all without a source URL attached — that rule is enforced in the software, not just in policy.
