This is a starting template. It was written to be edited, not relied on. Nobody here is a lawyer and this has not been reviewed by one — have a qualified adviser check it against the law where you operate before publishing these policies.

This describes what the site does today. It is short because the site does very little.

What the site collects

Nothing that identifies you, as far as the site’s own code is concerned. Specifically, at the time of writing:

  • No accounts, no sign-in, no profiles.
  • No cookies are set by this site.
  • No analytics or tracking scripts are loaded.
  • No third-party scripts of any kind — no fonts, tag managers, chat widgets or embeds fetched from other servers.
  • Nothing you type is stored. The drone finder and the filters put your choices in the page URL so the result is shareable, and that is all that happens to them.

If you later add analytics, replace the two lines above and name the provider, what it collects, where it stores it, and how to opt out. If you add a privacy-preserving one, say so plainly rather than claiming you collect nothing.

What your browser sends anyway

Loading any website sends your IP address and browser details to whoever serves it. Our host is [hosting provider], and they keep server logs under their own policy — [link to their policy]. We do not add anything to those logs ourselves.

Links out

We link to manufacturer specification pages so you can check our figures. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we have no control over them.

Affiliate arrangements

There are no affiliate or paid links in the site today. If you add any, state it here plainly and in the same words on the pages that carry them: what the arrangement is, who with, and that it does not change which drones rank where. Several jurisdictions require this disclosure to be conspicuous rather than buried.

Children

This is an informational site with nothing to buy and no account to create. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Your rights

Rights over personal data vary by country, and generally attach to data someone holds about you. We do not hold any.
